Last Link of George Gould's Transcontinental Dream: The Pittsburgh & West Virginia Railway
Presenter - Jim Whipple
The clinic describes some outstanding scenic features of the line that are well worth modeling, and suggests S scale rolling stock, both scale and hi-rail, to get the modeler started on their journey. With articulated steam, unique diesels, interesting run-through power including the famed Nickel Plate Berkshires, mixed freight, coal drags, passenger service, a mix of industrial, rural, and mountainous terrain, and connections with an amazing number of other railroads, the P&WV is a modeler's paradise!
